Stephen F. Cohen is Professor Emeritus of Russian Studies, History and Politics at New York University and Princeton University, and recipient of two Guggenheim Fellowships for his scholarship.
The author of several acclaimed books on Soviet and post-Soviet Russia, including US- Russian relations, he is a frequent contributor to American media, including for many years as a CBS News commentator. Cohen was a member of the Board of the original American Committee on East-West Accord.
